Between graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point and serving on active duty as an Army officer for five years, Sarah Travaglio has faced her share of challenges. Nothing however, has come close to the challenges of motherhood! Since the birth of her colicky son in 2008 and through his sleepless nights/wild days as a toddler, Sarah's been keeping track of little inventions and ideas with one intention in mind: to make motherhood easier!
As a working wife and mother, the one thing Sarah cherishes the most is SLEEP! Her idea for the Kiddie KuddlerTM came to her in the midst of a sleepless night when she was 30 weeks pregnant with her second child. Early one morning she heard her two-year-old son stirring in his bedroom. As she rolled over and wrapped her legs around her adult sized body pillow, she immediately wondered if her son would sleep longer, fall asleep faster or just be generally more comfortable in his bed if he had a body pillow too!
The next day she searched the internet and local retailers for a toddler-sized body pillow, but didn't find anything. That afternoon she drove to a fabric shop and picked out a cute soft fabric and silky trim. A couple of hours later her son's child-sized body pillow was complete.
That night he hugged it, wrapped his legs around it and slept. 
The next morning, he stayed in bed an HOUR longer than normal and told his mom that he "loved" it!
After sharing the news via a simple Facebook status update, Sarah's friends encouraged her to make more pillows for their young children.
The Kiddie Kuddler was born!
About her adult sized body pillow she says, "I mean, come on…it makes me want to stay in bed an hour longer, why wouldn’t it have the same effect on a 2-year-old? Apparently it does."
